The 3rd Annual Hike for Lung Health and Family Fun Fest is a multi-charity walk designed to bring attention to lung disease. Nearly a thousand people will be joining together to walk as teams or individuals to raise money to help the 1 million Chicago and surrounding suburban residents affected by lung disease. 

HIKE FOR LUNG HEALTH UPDATE
                     

Hike for Lung Health Raises $110,000




Nearly 1,000 walkers hiked in Chicago and Palatine to raise awareness about lung disease and raised money for continued research and education to fight lung disease. 

Together, we raised more than $110,000 and counting...Nearly $9,000 was collected on Sunday alone!

Special thank you to our Master of Ceremonies in Chicago, Ravi Baichwal, ABC7 Weekend Anchor, who shared details of his father's battle with lung disease.

  When they weren't bouncing on the moon walk, children were awed at the dazzling acrobatics of the Jesse White Tumblers or entertained by a magician!

and volunteers for making this event a success!

to be reflected on your fundraising page.

Don't quit now!  Let's reach our goal to raise $130,000!  There is still lots of time to fundraise for Hike for Lung Health.  Make sure to update your fundraising page with new photos from yesterday's event. Or send those photos to your family and friends via email.  Make sure to include a link to your Hike fundraising page.

Mailing Donations:  Donations can be mailed to the Respiratory Health Association of Metropolitan Chicago. Please include donor and hiker information so that each donation is credited properly. Click here to find a pledge sheet online.
